Pastoral Leader: The Rev. Yong Ju Jee
Our vision is to reach out to the Syracuse community and college campuses, share the gospel with not only Koreans but other ethnic groups (particularly international students), making them as disciples of Jesus Christ and sending them off as lay missionaries.
We strive to build our church based on sound doctrine, sound life and sound Preaching. Our mission is to experience the presence of God through worship service, unify as a family of God, help each other to nurture and grow in the Word and through love so that we are prepared to take the call to be witnesses of Jesus Christ from the Syracuse area to the end of the world.
Reaching out the community and serving all nations is an important aspect of Korean Church of Syracuse. Our HOP (House of PAL) offers a place for international students and is used as a place to share the gospel. We also serve refugees through our BOAZ project, teaching computers and English so that they are prepared to settle down. These are only tools to spread gospel. Through the Mustard Seed Fellowship, a Christian student group at Syracuse University, we pray for the Syracuse community and campus every Wed. at noon.
All are welcome to join our Sunday service. English speaking service is at 9:00 and Korean speaking service is at 11:00. Children’s worship is separate and at 11:00 on Sunday. There is SCA (Syracuse Christian Academy) on every Saturdays from 9:30 to 12:30 for children to learn multiple subjects based on Christian perspectives including Korean with Bible as second language.
