At the July 30th Leadership Team meeting, the Stated Clerk/Communicator Search Group reported on their process, presented a candidate to the Leadership Team and requested that a special meeting of the presbytery be called to accept the candidate as a member of the presbytery and to elect the candidate as the Stated Clerk/Communicator.  The Leadership Team approved the report, and the Acting Stated Clerk is calling a special meeting of the presbytery on Tuesday, September 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church.  The purpose of the meeting will be to bring the recommendation to accept the candidate as a member of the presbytery and to elect the candidate as the Stated Clerk/Communicator as well as conduct any other business that may be required.

There will be a reception for the candidate at 4:30 p.m. so that everyone will have a chance to meet the candidate before the formal presentation in the meeting.
