About Us

WHO WE ARE

The Presbytery of Cayuga-Syracuse is a collection of the Presbyterian faith communities, representing thirty-three congregations and one new worship community in Central New York State. We are part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), a historic Protestant denomination, and have been a vital part of this region for more than 200 years. Our congregations are engaged in a wide variety of Christian mission and ministry in the communities in which they are located. We’ve identified as a Matthew 25 Presbytery, which means our focus is on eradicating poverty, dismantling systemic racism and encouraging congregational vitality.
