When I was young, my father was in the Navy, and we moved from coast to coast to coast to coast (Gulf-Pacific-Gulf-Atlantic).  I played soccer one year in high school—I wasn’t very good, but it was fun.  I came alive in college, studying stuff like history, philosophy, and political science (which I think should be called “political art”).  I met my wife-to-be Banu at seminary, partly due to our mutual love of Star Trek and vampires.  Our dog’s name is Ronan.
